Restaurant & Cafe

-Fill in the blank

Fill in the blank is a vintage and simple cafe. It served very delicious breakfast. Besides, there's a shop selling vintage products with reasonable price. If you want to prevent crowded, you can go at the morning.

Shugaa served desserts with beautiful colour which caught everyone's eyes. It's not just the food is amazing and also the entire building is simply pretty. The Milk Tea Croissant is a must try!

The diner cafe is one of the most impressive cafe I ever went before. Not just the ambience, you're expecting nice food and the misty secret garden. Furthermore, I am a big fan of their spa products such as hand lotion , body lotion etc.

Chef Jutamas Theantae says her background in Fine Arts,
helped enhancing her culinary creativity
as “perfection lies in looking at the little details”.

I went Audrey Cafe at night which I can't see the real beauty of the building. However, I love the Milk Tea Layer Cake. P/s:They charged for the plain water.

The Unfashioned Dining served Thai Food with reasonable price. Another nicely decorated and served good food and good service. Must try their local menu.

-Kay's Breakfast Boutique

What's best about Kay's cafe is the opening hour at 6.30 in the morning. It is a good news for early bird. Kay's decoration is very modern and Instagram-y. One of the cafes, you can take Instagram photos. Their Matcha and Belgium chocolate latte is a must try!

Communications

It is very important things to have a Sim card for communication purpose and also navigation purpose nowadays. In fact, I used to not having a Sim Card and only a physical map on my hand while travelling in Bangkok back then but it is totally waste of time without a Sim card. There's always DTAC SIM CARD 299 baht for 7 days. Well, there are also other options, AIS and TRUE.

Start your vacation by booking your hotel!!

Nightlife

-Khaosan Road

Khaosan Road has been a very popular place to go for many years. Bar, massage, street food and bar again. I think Khaosan Road never let me down since the last visit. Full of people and bars are getting much prettier and variety street food will never keep you from starving.

Fastest Way to reach Khaosan: Taxi/ Tuk Tuk

-Rod Fai Night Market

Rod Fai Night Market is the upcoming popular night market. This new central and compact market opening hour 6 pm until 12 am. Feel free to pop in and have some delicious food and drinks.

Fastest Way to reach Rod Fai Night Market: Thai Cultural Centre MRT station

-Skybar (Lebua at state tower)

One of the impressive sky bar in Bangkok. However, beverages  are a little bit overpriced and I am buying this because of the ambience, the fine architecture, and the view is amazing.

Fastest Way to reach Lebua: Taxi  / Saphan Taksin BTS station

-Supper at Jeh O Chula

A local famous restaurant which located at Soi Charat nearby National Stadium BTS. It serves delicious Tom Yum instant noodles with a variety of toppings.

Shopping

I was having a blast shopping in Bangkok so as any girls who went there. I would like to recommend some malls which impressed me at the first time and every time.

"Wholesale please go Pratunam Market ;
For shopping please go Platinium Mall"

Firstly, I have to say which is Platinium Mall. Platinium Mall doesn't have the hot and unpleasant feeling went you walk in Pratunam Wholesale Market which located right opposite Platinium Market. Even though the price is cheaper in Pratunam Market, but from time to time the people who sell in Pratunam Market tend to do wholesale instead of retail sale. For girls like us which only want to buy one piece is not suitable hanging around in the market. You're able to find the same pieces in Platinium Mall but a little bit higher in pricing, in this case, you don't need to buy the same clothes which more than 3 pieces for a cheaper price.

I very fond of the design in Emquartier mall. I have checked Wikipedia, Emquartier opened in 2015.Designed by the architecture firm Leeser Architecture. The building features a 30' open air garden on the fifth floor and six stories of dining terraces sitting atop a helical floor slab. Besides, I love the five story of the waterfall and inside forest garden. Emquartier is comprised of three zones.
Glass Quartier, Waterfall Quartier, my favourite Helix Quartier. Try go by elevator to 6/9 floor. You will be amazed. Needless to say, Emquartier is an eye open shopping mall in Bangkok.

Spa

A trip to Bangkok can't without a relaxing and calming spa. To recharge energy and refresh your mind after the long hours of shopping and exploring Bangkok. There are two Spa which I think which is extraordinary.

- Mandarin Ginger Spa

Mandarin Ginger Spa which located at Sukhumvit 59 road. The full address which able to found on their official website.  You can make a reservation through online or phone calls but I still think that   making a phone calls is necessary. I chose to have a Thai Massage for almost 2 hours. It was intense and relaxing massage. Don't worry if you do not want strong massage, you can mentioned in the form before any treatment begin.

- Treasure Spa

Treasure Spa which located at Thonglor Road which abit far away from the Thonglor Train Station. But don't worry about that, you can arrange a free transfer service with them. Besides, they have a branch at Siam Square which is more convenient. However, I love the spa here it is very relaxing but the receptionist is very impatient with the photos taking which I had asked permission to take.

Anyway, if you want to have a relaxing spa this is the place for you.

You can also make reservation from their website or phone calls.

Currently they are having promotion please check their website!!

Transport

Bangkok public transport makes Tourist travel in Bangkok much easier.

Getting around Bangkok can be a pain in the ass especially at peak hours if you're travelling with cars. Therefore, here is some information you may need to know before you go Bangkok.

It is highly recommended to buy a SIM card for checking google maps purpose.

There are 4 lines in Bangkok which are Silom Line, Sukhumvit Line, MRT Line and Airport Rail Link. Map able to get from Airport information Center.

When there at off peak hour,  you may choose to take a cab using GRAB car or UBER which available in Bangkok It saves you the time of miscommunication session with the driver. Sometimes, the driver may not understand what or where you're going even you show them the name of the place. Therefore, GRAB or UBER will be the good alternative.

Hotel or Airbnb

Hotel normally nearby those tourist spots which is very convenient for you who prefer stay nearby without travelling much. If you prefer less crowded and do not mind a bit travelling & walking, you may try Airbnb. There's no bias which option is the better. It is still depends on the user preferences.
